# General FAQ: What Is PolyFundr and How Does It Work

> Answers to common PolyFundr questions about Polymarket trading, account sizes from $10k to $200k, KYC, demo accounts, and how to get started.

PolyFundr is a prop trading platform for prediction markets. You pass a rules-based challenge to prove your edge, then trade with funded capital of up to \$200,000 while keeping 90% of your profits. The questions below cover the basics of how the platform works.

  <Accordion title="What is PolyFundr?">
    PolyFundr is a prop trading platform for prediction markets. You buy a
    one-step challenge, trade live Polymarket prices in a simulated account, and
    receive a funded account if you pass.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What is Polymarket?">
    Polymarket is a leading prediction market platform where traders buy and sell YES/NO outcome shares on real-world events. Prices reflect the market's probability estimate for each outcome, and positions are resolved to \$1 (YES) or \$0 (NO) when the event settles.

    PolyFundr uses live Polymarket prices for all trades. You are not trading on Polymarket directly. PolyFundr simulates your trades against those live prices and tracks your performance inside the challenge and funded account rules.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What markets can I trade?">
    You can trade any market available on PolyFundr, which mirrors the full range of live Polymarket markets. That includes:

    * **Politics:** elections, policy decisions, geopolitical events
    * **Crypto:** price milestones, protocol upgrades, regulatory outcomes
    * **Sports:** NFL, NBA, Premier League, Formula 1, and more
    * **Technology & AI:** product launches, model releases, tech milestones
    * **Finance:** economic indicators, central bank decisions
    * **Culture:** awards, entertainment, and current events

    There are no restrictions on news events, weekends, or holding periods. You can trade any open market at any time and hold positions for as long as you like, as long as you stay within the risk rules.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need to complete KYC to start?">
    No. There is no KYC (Know Your Customer) verification required to purchase a
    challenge or begin trading. You can start immediately after signing up.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I make a profit on PolyFundr?">
    You trade YES or NO outcome shares on prediction market events. You profit by closing positions at a better price than you entered:

    * Buy YES at a low probability and sell or hold to resolution if the outcome occurs.
    * Buy NO at a low probability and sell or hold to resolution if the outcome does not occur.

    Only **realized profit** from closed positions counts toward payout eligibility. Open positions do not count until they are closed.

  <Accordion title="How do I get started?">
    Choose a challenge size (\$10,000, \$25,000, or \$50,000), pay the one-time
    challenge fee, and start trading immediately. Once you hit the 30% profit
    target with consistent profit (no single trading day over 30% of your total)
    and without breaching any rules, you pass the challenge and receive a funded
    account automatically. \$100k and \$200k accounts are awarded through
    competitions and giveaways.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What account sizes are available?">
    Challenges are available at the following funded account sizes:

    | Funded account | One-time fee |
    | :------------- | :----------- |
    | \$10,000       | \$125        |
    | \$25,000       | \$300        |
    | \$50,000       | \$500        |

    \$100,000 and \$200,000 accounts are not on direct sale right now. They are awarded through competitions and giveaways, on the same rules.

    All challenge sizes share the same rules: 30% profit target, a consistency rule (no single trading day over 30% of total realized profit), 10% daily drawdown, 20% total drawdown, 5% max risk per trade, and 14 days max inactivity.
